Help ensure Email Delivery

CAUTION: You should pay attention to the SPF Record instructions given below. Your emails may not be delivered to your Contacts if you fail to complete these steps.

SPF Record Warning

If you modify the 'From Email', this can reduce the probability that emails from the platform will arrive in the recipient's Inbox unless you add '' to the SPF record for your domain name. Below, we'll provide information related to SPF records, and help you understand what you need to do.

Understanding SPF

Your deliverability is based on two things: the reputation of your email marketing provider and your own domain reputation.

One thing we offer is the ability to set up a custom sending domain, which allows you to set up authentication records with your web host. This tells email providers like Gmail and Outlook that you are a real business, and you have given SuiteDash permission to send on your behalf.

SPF stands for Sender Policy Framework. It was specifically created to protect against sender address forgery--spammers pretending to send emails as you. An SPF record in your DNS Settings gives email providers something to check, to make sure the emails are really coming from you. Read more about SPF here.

These records are not required, but can improve your deliverability to your lists!

What does this SPF need to look like?

You should create a TXT record in your DNS using the value below

v=spf1 ~all

If you already have an SPF record created, for Google or Office365 for example, you can create an SPF record with multiple values. Some examples are included below.

v=spf1 ~all
v=spf1  ~all
