What is the CRM Dashboard?

The CRM Dashboard is your one-stop overview of a particular Contact. You can view and edit things such as their profile information, assigned Circle, Notes, etc.

You can accomplish many different tasks without navigating away from this page.


Where do I find the CRM Dashboard?

First, navigate to CRM > Contacts.

You'll need to have a Contact already created in order to view their CRM Dashboard.

Click on the Contact of your choice to view that Contact's CRM Dashboard. You will see an overview of the Contact's profile, as well as many different elements that you can interact with.

Navigation Menu Bar

By default, you will be on the  Details tab of the CRM Dashboard. You can access many different areas of the platform while staying on the CRM Dashboard page, and will only view items that are assigned to this specific Contact.

Events: View this Contact's Events, which are preset scheduled reminders that you can see on your Calendar.

Notes: View a list of Notes for this Contact, which are textual records of extra information regarding this Contact.

Deals: View this Contact's Deals. This is a mechanism to help you track sales progress.

Files: This will direct you to the Contact's "Client Files" folder.

Projects: View a list of Projects this Contact is assigned to.

Tasks: View a list of Tasks that this Contact is assigned to.

RE: Tasks: View a list of "Related to" Tasks, which are informal Tasks specifically related to this Contact.

Estimates: View a list of Estimates that are assigned to this Contact.

Invoices: View a list of Invoices that are assigned to this Contact.

Login Logs: This will show a log of the date/time and IP address of all login attempts by this Contact.

The Login Status column will indicate successful logins, as well as failed login attempts with the reasoning (incorrect Password, incorrect 2FA One-Time code, etc.)

Quick Action Header

The avatar of the Contact you are viewing, as well as their Role, will be shown at the top left-hand corner of the screen. You can click the icon to bring up a Quick Switch field, in which you can quickly switch to a different Contact's CRM Dashboard.

You can assign a new Coordinator to your Contact in a similar way. The avatar of the current Coordinator, as well as their Role, will be shown at the top of the screen.

Choose a different user to assign as this Contact's Coordinator by selecting them from the dropdown menu.

Click the icon for a list of things you can do related to the Contact. For most of these actions, you will remain in the CRM Dashboard page.

Create RE: Task: Create a "Related to" Task, which is an informal Task specifically related to this Contact.

Add Note: Create a textual record of extra information regarding this Contact.

Add Event: Create an Event, which is a preset scheduled reminder that you can see on your Calendar.

Send Message: Create a new Secure Message to your Contact within the platform.

Upload Files: This will direct you to the Contact's "Client Files" folder.

Send Email: Clicking this option will activate a "mailto" link. This is a type of HTML link that activates the default mail client on your computer. This functionality will depend on your browser and email setup.

Create Invoice: This will create a new Invoice with this Contact already assigned.

Click the icon to configure Salesperson Visibility. This allows the restriction of visibility for Staff Members with the Salesperson role through "claiming" a Contact.

Click the icon for a list of additional things you can do related to the Contact.  For most of these actions, you will remain in the CRM Dashboard page.

Edit: This will direct you to the editing page for this Contact.

Add Deal: Create a Deal for your Contact. This is a mechanism to help you track sales progress.

Apply Folder Generator: Apply a Folder Generator to this Contact, which is a predefined folder structure that you create in advance.

Apply Invoice Generator: Generate an Invoice from an Invoice Generator, which is the framework of a prebuilt Invoice.

Set Placeholder Links: Set this Contact's "shortcut" links.

Change Password: Change the Contact's Password used to log into the platform.

Impersonate: Simulate logging in as the user, in order to experience the platform exactly as this Contact would.

Set Inactive: Temporarily disable your Contact's access to the platform.

Click the icon to close out the CRM Dashboard, and return to the list of Contacts.

Contact Main Details

Click the Dynamic Data button to launch the "Dynamic Data View". This interface lets you quickly and easily update the Dynamic Data Placeholder data associated with this Contact.

You'll be able to see which Circles this Contact is assigned to. You can quickly remove them from a Circle by clicking the on the Circle name. Or, you can quickly add the Contact to a Circle by clicking +Add to Circle(s).

In the Available Actions section, you'll find many of the same options already available to you in the Quick Action Header.

You'll also be able to trigger an Actions Template, which is a pre-configured set of Trigger/Actions.

To the left of the screen, you'll see the full-sized avatar of your Contact along with their name and Company (if applicable). The date that they were added into the platform, as well as the user who created the entry, is also included. This section records the date of their last successful login.

From here, you can quickly Impersonate the Contact, change their Password, or set them as Inactive.
