UID Settings
What are UID Settings?
A unique identifier (UID) is an a string that uniquely navigates to a specific area/record within the Platform.
For example, you may want your staff to work on a specific project for a Client so you can use the UID to direct them to the Project that is the target of the required work.
UID's are available for CRM Targets, Staff, Projects and Work Requests.
To get started, navigate to Flyout Menu > Content Settings.
Click the UID SETTINGS Tab, and click the button to ACTIVATE CUSTOM UIDs.
Once started, it can take up to 24 hours for the activation process to be completed.
You can navigate away from the screen and return back to check to see if it has been completed. When it is, you will then have the option to click the relevant UID settings to add your custom prefix and the starting number for the UID's in each area.
