Text Block

The Text Block is one of the most flexible content blocks available and can be added to any page that uses Blocks. It allows you to add rich text, images, videos, and other content using a standard WYSIWYG editor.


Adding a Text Block

1. Click the Add Block icon.

2. Select Text Block from the list.3. Use the editor to add or update your content. 


Editor Formatting Tools

A modal will appear in which you can edit the content. This will open the Block Options tab. Using the formatting icons in the Text Block provides a powerful and flexible way to manage nearly any type of content within your page.

➕ (Add) - Click this icon to access the following options.  Please note that Ai Tools and Images will only be available if you are on a membership modal or if you are paying for the Ai Usage Service.

✨ (Ai Tools) - Click this option to access Ai tools which can be used to edit and improve your text. 

Please note that Ai Tools will only be available if you have Ai tools/images will only be available if you are on a membership modal or if you are paying for the Ai Usage Service.

Expand / Fullscreen) - This will expand the Content editor you are working in, to be the full size of the widow.  All other areas of the platform will be hidden until you click this icon again to reduce the editor to the original size.

</> (HTML / Code View) - This allows you to see and edit the underlying source code of the content instead of using the visual editor. In this view, the content is displayed as HTML markup, which includes elements such as headings, paragraphs, links, images, and formatting tags. You can add HTML directly here if you choose.

¶ (Paragraph Format) - Enables you to format the way a your text is structured and displayed within a document or editor

≡ (Alignment) – You can adjust the alignment of your text to left, center, right, or justified, depending on how you want the content to appear within the text block.

B (Bold) - Highlight your important text and click the B icon to make the font bold so it stands out from the rest of the text.

I (Italic) - Italic (or italics) refers to a text style where the letters are slightly slanted to the right. It’s commonly used to subtly emphasize words or distinguish certain types of content.

(Deleted) - Strikethrough draws a horizontal line through text showing something has been deleted but is still visible.

T (Text Size) -  Use this tool to control how big or small your Font/Text appears.

A (Text color) - text color / background color tool lets you change the appearance of text by adding color, either to the text itself or behind it.

⋯ (More Formatting) - This will enable you to add or clear styles and formatting.  Additional formatting include Code, Underline, superscript, Subscript, Highlight.

≡ (List) - This is used to organize text into structured lists, making information clearer and easier to read. You can also use the indent and outdent tool to position your lists.

🔗 (link) The link tool in a content editor is used to turn text into a clickable link that takes you to another resource e.g. a website or file.

🖼 (Image) - You can add images directly into the text block.

⬛ (Grid / Table) - Use this tool to add Grids or Tables to your content.  Once you have added one, you can the highlight the table and re-click the grid/table tool to access further editing options as shown below

Ω (Special Characters) - Access and add special characters.

{x} (Dynamic Data Placeholder) - You can insert default or custom field placeholders by clicking the {x} button. 

Keep in mind that the available placeholders may vary depending on where the content block is used.

How do I edit and existing Text Block?

Click the Pencil icon at any time when you would like to edit the content in the block.

TIPS
Use the WYSIWYG editor for standard formatting.
Switch to HTML mode only when advanced customization is needed.
Use Dynamic Data Placeholders to personalize or automate content.
