BLOCKS: Deals Block
What is the Deals Block?
The Deals Block brings your open CRM Deals onto a Dashboard, with anything overdue at the very top. It mirrors your CRM Deals list, showing the same Deals, the same fields and the same values, and it lets you open, edit, create, or mark a Deal won or lost in place through the Deals feature's own panels. It is a Staff-side Block, so your Clients never see it.
How do I add the Deals Block?
Edit a Dashboard, add a Block, and choose Deals from the gallery. It is placed deliberately and is never on by default.

The Block's options open as soon as you add it, and you can reopen them at any time:
Block Title: The heading shown on the Block. Block Icon and Icon Color set the mark beside it.
Show # Results: How many rows appear before Show More: 5, 10, 15 or 20. It starts at 5.
Block Height: Fixed, Auto or a height you set.
Starting View: Whether the Block opens on Mine or All. It starts on Mine.
Date Range: How far ahead the Block looks for upcoming Deals: the next 7, 30 or 90 days. It starts at 30.
Pipelines, Stages and Categories: narrow the Block to the ones you choose, from your own CRM values. Leave them alone to show everything.

TIP: You can place more than one Deals Block, and each keeps its own settings. Whatever a viewer changes for themselves, the view, the filters, the sort and the window, is remembered for that Block on that device, and never changes what anyone else sees.
What does the Block show?
Under its normal sort the Block groups your open Deals so the urgent ones come first: an Overdue group, holding Deals whose expected close date has passed, and then the Upcoming ones falling inside the window you chose. Overdue Deals always appear, however long ago their date passed, while the window bounds only the upcoming ones. Change the sort and the groups give way to one flat list.
Each row carries the Deal title, the CRM Target with their avatar, the probability, the Pipeline, Stage and Category, the estimated Value in the Deal's own currency, the Expected Close date shown in red once it has passed, and who created it. Where a Deal is held in another currency, the row also shows the approximate amount in your own.

Beside the Block title sit two figures: a Weighted total for the open Deals in view, restated in your account's base currency, and a count of how many of them are Overdue. Both describe open Deals, so filtering to Won or Lost puts them away.
The list stays glanceable: a first batch shows, Show More reveals more, and Open CRM Deals in the footer opens the full list.
TIP: A Deal with no currency, or in a currency with no exchange rate set, is left out of the Weighted total. The Deal still appears in the list with its own value.
How do I filter, sort and search?
The Block's controls sit in its header on the Dashboard itself. They are deliberately hidden while you are editing the Dashboard, so do not expect them in the builder.
Date Range: A pill showing how far ahead the Block is looking. Switch between the next 7, 30 and 90 days.
Filter: The funnel picks one thing to narrow by, and its control then appears in a strip under the header. Narrow by Assignment (Mine or All), by Result (the Block opens on open Deals; choose Won or Lost to bring decided ones into view), by Pipeline, by Stage, by Category, or by text. Stages are grouped under their Pipeline so the same stage name in two Pipelines stays distinct.
Search: Type three characters or more to search the Deal title and the Target's name.
Sort: Reorder the list. Any sort other than the normal one replaces the Overdue and Upcoming groups with a single list.
Refresh: Re-asks for the list. The Block does not poll on its own.
If your role may create Deals, a + in the header opens the Add Deal form.
How do I work a Deal from the Block?
Click a row, or choose View Deal, to open the Deal in place over the Dashboard, and choose Edit Deal to open its edit form when you are allowed to edit that Deal. If your role may close Deals, Mark won and Mark lost are offered on the row, each behind a confirmation, and they close the Deal through the Deals feature's own guarded close. After any of these the Block refreshes itself quietly.
There is no inline stage change, no delete and no bulk action in the Block. Those belong to the CRM Deals list and the Pipelines board.
IMPORTANT: A Deal that is already won or lost cannot be re-decided. Every close, whether from the Block, the Deal panel or the Pipelines board, goes through the same guarded close, so a decided Deal is refused rather than quietly changed.
Who can see the Deals Block?
The Deals Block is for Staff only, and it appears only when your plan includes Deals and your role can open the CRM Deals list. Otherwise it is simply absent. You never see a Deal in the Block that you could not open in the CRM Deals list, a Salesperson's Contact restriction included, and the Block shows only Deals attached to a CRM Contact. The standard per-Block access options for role, Circle, team and user still apply on top.
TIP: The Deals Block is offered on Dashboards only. It is not available on Portal Pages, Public Pages, Proposals, Lessons or the other Content Block Editor surfaces.
