Community: Overview
What is Communities? (Currently in BETA)
The Community toolkit enables interaction between You, your Staff & your Clients by creating up to 5 fully independent discussion forums and a robust set of functionalities designed to streamline interaction and encourage Member participation.
NOTE: The Communities Toolkit is a Power-up and is not available in a trial account or included in any monthly, yearly or lifetime plan. You can subscribe to the Power-up from your Manage Account menu when you are subscribed to a paid plan.
Permissions Settings
You'll need to configure your settings with which Staff Member Roles can Create/Edit/Delete Communities and which Staff Member Roles can Moderate Communities.
To access Permission Settings, click the three dots and select Permission Settings or click the Key icon on the right.
Creating Communities (Forums)
The Power-up enables you to create up to 5 fully independent Communities. Each additional Community over the allotted five (5) is billed at an additional amount.

To create a Community click the + symbol next to the Community title or click the Community icon on the right and click the + Create New Community button.
This will open up a modal for you to add your Community settings. Community Name: The Name of this Forum/Discussion board.
Community Description: More information regarding the Community. Use the Editor Block to add your text.
Click the icons in the block to style your text:
Click the icons in the Editor Block to style create your post. The icons above enable you to do the following;
- Undo and Redo Text
- Align Text
- Align the Paragraph
- Header Styling
- Bulleted List
- Number List
- Add Quote
- Inline or Formatted Code
- Bold
- Italic
- Underline
- Link
- Image
Community Icon: Click the icon to see other icon options.
Community Rules: Add your Forum rules and posting guidelines. This ensures that all members are using the Community in a courteous, respectful and intentional manor.
Community Image: Drag and drop your chosen image into the image box.
Community Tags: Add any tags (optional).
Managing Communities
To manage your Communities, click the three dots and select Manage Communities or click the Community icon on the right.
Hoover over the Community you wish to manage and the Edit and Delete icons will appear.
How to Create Posts
To create a post, click the Community in your side menu that you wish to post in, and then click the 'Create New Post' button.
A modal will appear for you to select the Space and add Tags and the Post Title.
You can now select what type of Post you want to create. There are no limits to the number of Posts in your Communities.

Poll Post
Polls are a great way to get feedback from your Community members. You can create polls to ask questions about your products or services, your marketing campaigns, or anything else you want to know.Once created click +Add Post.
How to interact with Posts
To interact with a Post, click the Community or space you wish to see.
The Community Posts will now show on the screen and you can Like, add Comments or Follow a Post of interest;
Staff members that are assigned to the Community can also click on the Post image to open the Post where they can then click the 3 dots to find the options to Edit or Delete the Post.
All Community members can also search for a Post by clicking the icon shown below;
You can also use the information icon on the right menu to see the details of the Community.
If you have Editing permission you will also be able to Edit the Community, Add New Spaces and Add Members from the right side menu;
Add New Spaces: There are no limits to the number of Spaces you can add to your Communities. Spaces are sub-sections inside of each Community that can be based on individual topics and/or access permissions. Spaces can be made public or private within the Community.
Adding Members: There are no limits to the number of Members you can add to your Communities. This makes it easy to scale your Community as it grows.
Managing Tags: You can add new Tags and manage existing Tags.
You can also use the Your Feed menu to quickly navigate to specific Posts;
Home: Click here to return back to the home screen.
@ Mentions: This is currently in Development. You will be able to @Mention other members in posts and they will then be able to see a list of all Posts they have been mentioned in by clicking the Mentions menu item on the left.
Following Posts: Any Posts you are following will be listed here.
My Posts: click here to see all of the Posts you have created
