CRM: Deal Generators
What is a Deal Generator?
A Deal is a mechanism to help you track income opportunities within a visual pipeline, It progresses through stages until it is either ultimately Won or Lost. The Deal Generator is a pre-defined Deal Card that can be applied through automation or manually in the CRM. Once the Generator is created all it needs is to be triggered and told which Contact/Company (the target) should be assigned to the generated Deal Card.
The Deals feature helps you clearly define a sales process and lets you easily track key metrics.

How do I create a Deal Generator?
To get started, navigate to CRM > Deals > Generators.
Click the +Add Deal Generator button.
A modal will appear in which you can fill out the relative fields.
Reference Title: The Generator name.
Deal title: A title for the Deal when it is generated. This can be a combination of Text and Dynamic Placeholders.
Details: Additional information about the Deal.
Category: Choose a Category from the dropdown menu. You can create new CRM Deal Categories in Content Categories.

Relative Due Date: The number of days after creation that you expect it to close.
Expected Value: You can calculate the potential monetary value of a Deal by inputting a number into this field. You can then select the Currency from the dropdown menu.
Pipeline: Choose which Pipeline you want to add the Deal to.
Choose which Staff Members will be able to view the Deal as a Follower.
All Staff: Every current Staff Member Role that has access to CRM, as well as any future Staff Members that are added to the platform.
Individual: A dropdown menu will appear, in which you can choose individual Staff Member(s).
You can choose to send an email notification to the specified Staff Members when the Deal is created by toggling the option.
Configure Automations: Automations that you would like to trigger when the deal is moved from one state to another.
How do I manage Deal Generator?
You can create multiple generators so different Deal cards can be created in different situations i.e. a different deal card for each service you offer etc. All of the Generators will be listed on the Generator page.
Click the three dot options menu next to the Generator if you would like to Edit or Delete the Generator or to Manage Automations.
How do I apply a Deal Generator to a Target?
Deal Generators can be manually assigned in the CRM or used in an Automated Workflow.
Applying manually via the CRM
If you are adding the Target manually into the CRM you can add the Deal Generator while you are creating the Company or Contact.
If the Target has already been added to the CRM you can apply click the three dots on the CRM list and select the generator from the Options.
Alternatively, if you are already in the CRM Dashboard you can click the + icon on the top right and select Deal Generator from the list.
Both these methods will allow you to select the relevant Deal Generator from your list.
Applying through Automation
The Generator can be triggered via an Auto-Template or anywhere you see the 'Configure Automation' option or via Form assignments.
