BLOCKS: Single Image Block

Single Image Block

The Single Image Block is used to display an image of your choice on a Dashboard, Portal Page, Public Page, Document, Proposal, Campaign, Lesson or Sales funnel. It offers a range of display and interaction options, including click actions, dynamic image sources, and full layout control, making it a versatile block for both visual and functional use.

What This Block Is Used For

Use this block whenever you want to display an image within your page layout. It works well for branding, visual content, profile images, and interactive elements.

  • Display a logo, banner, or decorative image on a page or portal
  • Show a Contact's or Company's custom profile image dynamically
  • Display a Staff member's or Salesperson's avatar or custom image
  • Create a clickable image that links to a URL, triggers an Automation, or navigates to another area of the platform
  • Show a user-uploaded image from a Custom Field

How to Add This Block

1. Open the Content Block Editor on the page wish to edit.

2. Click the Add Block (+) button to open the block selection menu.

3. Select Single Image from the list.

How to Configure the Block

After adding your Single Image Block or clicking the edit icon on an existing Single Image Block, the Single Image Options modal will appear with three sub-menus: General, Styling, and Access .

General Settings

Image Type:

Click the dropdown to select the source of the image you want to display. The available options are:

  • Upload Image — Upload any image from your own files.
  • URL — Enter a direct URL to an externally hosted image.
  • Custom Field (File Upload Type) — Each Target will see the image uploaded to their own Custom Field. Supported file types are JPEG, PNG, SVG, GIF, APNG, AVIF, ICO, BMP, and WEBP.
  • Custom Field (URL Type) — Display an image from a URL stored in a Custom Field.
  • CRM Contact Custom Image — Display a custom image from a Dynamic Image Placeholder in the Contact's profile.
  • CRM Company Custom Image — Display a custom image from a Dynamic Image Placeholder in the Company's profile.
  • Staff Custom Image — Display the custom image or avatar for a Staff member.
  • Salesperson Custom Image — Display the custom image or avatar for the assigned Salesperson.
  • Coordinator Custom Image — Display the custom image or avatar for the assigned Salesperson.

TIP: Not all image types are available for all pages.

Allow Click Action

Toggle this to ON if you would like to make the image clickable. When enabled, you can configure what happens when a user clicks the image, such as navigating to another area of the platform, opening a URL, or triggering an Auto-Template.

Full Width

Toggle to ON to automatically expand the image to fill the full width of the block. To set dimensions manually, leave this toggle OFF and enter values in the Width and Height fields.

Edge to Edge

Toggle to ON to force the image to fill the entire browser width from edge to edge. This option still allows you to customise image style and alignment.

Image Style

Keep the image in its original shape, or apply a circular cutout effect using the dropdown menu.

Alignment

Align the image to the centre, left, or right of the block.

TIP: When using the CRM Contact Custom Image or CRM Company Custom Image options, the image displayed will be unique to each Target based on the Dynamic Image Placeholder configured in their profile.

Styling Settings

The Styling settings enables you to customize the visual appearance of the block including border and hover options.

Access Settings

You can set the permissions for each individual Block based on Circles. Teams, Roles, and Users. Only the users specified will be able to view this Block.

You can also choose to hide each individual Block from a specific Circle, Team, Role, or User.

TIP: If a Block is not permissioned for a user, it simply won't be included in the page structure. There is no indication that anything is "missing".

What Users Will See

Visitors on the published page or portal will see the image displayed according to the settings you have configured. The experience is clean and seamless within the surrounding content.

  • A static image displayed at the size and alignment you have set.
  • A clickable image if a click action has been configured.
  • A personalised image if a dynamic image source such as a Custom Field or CRM profile image has been used, meaning each Target sees their own relevant image.

Best Practices

Thoughtful use of the Single Image Block can significantly improve the visual quality and personalisation of your pages.

  • Use the Full Width toggle for banner-style images to ensure they scale responsively across different screen sizes.
  • Use the Circular image style for profile or avatar images to give your portal a polished, professional appearance.
  • Use CRM Contact Custom Image or Staff Custom Image sources to create personalised portals where each user sees their own image automatically.
  • If linking the image to a URL or action, make sure the destination is relevant and tested before publishing.
  • Keep image file sizes optimised before uploading to ensure fast page load times for your users.

TIP: The Single Image Block works especially well on Welcome pages and Client portals when combined with a Dynamic Image Placeholder. Each Client will automatically see their own company logo or profile image without any manual configuration per user.

IMPORTANT: When using the Custom Field (File Upload Type) option, only the following file types can be displayed: JPEG, PNG, SVG, GIF, APNG, AVIF, ICO, BMP, and WEBP. Other file types will not render correctly in the block.
