PORTAL: Overview

Designing your Portal

Portal Pages are blank slate pages you customize with the content you choose. You can set them to be permissioned for just Contacts, just Staff, or a combination of Roles or individual users. You can build a Portal Page in one of two ways - using the classic Article Style Editor or our powerful Content Block Editor.

You'll need content for your Contacts to view and resources for your Staff Members to access.

Assigning a Start Page

You can take one of those nice Portal Pages you've created and make it the first thing your Prospect or Client sees when they log into the platform.  After all, the first thing your Contact sees when they log in is important! As with any Portal Page, you can make it as personalized as you'd like.

Placeholder Links

Every Contact has their own unique navigation in their Portal, so how do you manage this when building their environment?  Placeholder Links are dynamic - meaning they change depending on who is viewing them. These links can be used in Portal Pages, Project updates, Notices, etc., and will adapt to the correct Contact who is logged into the platform.

Content Categories

Different businesses have different needs for organizing the elements of their work. Using Content Categories, you can label different types of Companies or Events with your Contacts, create a complex hierarchy of Task Priorities, classify categories of your CRM Deals, and so much more. These labels appear as color-coded "tags" for easy management.

Custom Menus

Set the main Menu options to suit your needs. With Custom Menus, it's entirely up to you what Menu Items are visible to anyone on the platform. You can rename, reorder, hide based on Role, and even create new Menu Items.
